Saw this in the Bluefield Daily Telegraph. I believe that she would have been a group 26 Pennington on both her mother and father's families. Rhonda Mrs. Ada E. Robertson HILLDALE - Mrs. Ada E. Robertson, 101, of the Summers County Health Care Center at Hilldale, formerly of Speedway, died Saturday, September 27, 1997, at the health care center. Born March 29, 1896, at Pride, she was the daughter of the late Nichols and Catherine Pennington. She was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith. She was a lifelong resident of Mercer County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Robertson on February 28, 1959, two sons, John N. Robertson and Troy Robertson, two daughters, Mrs. Atha Danieley and Miss Titanna Robertson, and 11 brothers and sisters. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Survivors: son, Carsal Robertson of Lincoln Park, Mich.; daughters, Rhomeleta Barbor and her husband Herbert of Princeton, and Clarica Craghead of Beckley; 17 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services and burial will be Wednesday, October 1, 1997, at 11 a.m. at the Athens Cemetery in Athens. Friends may call today, Tuesday, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Memorial Funeral Directory, Athens Road, Princeton. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
