Dick, I don't have any info on the descendants of John Pennington I referenced as s/o William M Pennington and Drusilla Smithson. Nor do I have anything concrete that shows the Group 10 Penningtons of Sussex Co moving into TN or AR even though there are some suspicions that are being further researched. I checked the Group 10 Penningtons which are my group and were from Sussex, and I don't find Barry as a common family name. I do have however 28 John Penningtons in the file. Further review of my master index of Penningtons, that include many other groups, only shows one Barry and no John Barrys. There are over 300 Johns in this index which include 10 John Bs. The closest John B was born abt 1837 and was married to Mary Glenwaters. My master index doesn't include much more than b, d, and spouse, but if this is a possibility, let me know and I'll dig out the file and she what else is there on this John B Pennington.
