Married Elizabeth Beeson abt 1780. 2) John Pennington (b.abt 1789 Randolph Co NC d.abt 1859 Simpson Co, KY). 3) Levi Pennington (b.1829 Simpson Co, KY d.1900 Moniteau Co, MO). Married Sarah J Smith-Beard on 01 Jun 1852 in Simpson Co KY. 4) Little Berry Pennington (b.16 Sep 1865 Moniteau Co MO d.31 Jul 1955 KCMO). Berry married Bertha Steinhauer Abt. 1889. 5) Virgie Minnie Pennington (b.28 Jun 1891 Moniteau Co MO d.Aug 1975 New Mkt MO). Virgie married Elmo T. Nelson 14 Apr 1909 in Clarksburg MO. 6) Emma Lucille Nelson 7) Jo Ann Crawford (my MOM) This is not a very prolific line. Many babies lost at birth and in 1st year. Virgie Minnie was only surviving child of Little Berry. Emma Lucille was only child of Virgie. And my Mom was the only child of Emma Lucille to have any children. There are lots of Penningtons buried at the Flag Spring Church cemetery just east of California MO, including some I haven't connected with yet. Have found lots of surviving Crawford cousins in Moniteau County (mainly in California MO), but nary a single Pennington cousin. If you're out there, PLEASE give a holler! Debra Claussen
