Do not know if this relates or not <g> Edward Pennington b about 1795-96 is first found (by me anyway) in the 1820 Ashe Cty Census as a young man with a wife and one son 0-9 years of age. I then got to see the 1850 Watauga Cty (was Ashe) census, and there he is as a farmer of 54 with wife Lucinda age 48. They have two children remaining at home: Isaac b. about 1827, and Irina b. about 1835. I believe they had a daughter, Emeline b. about 1833, too. but she was married by 1850. Emeline and Irina married Loves. Probably quite a few other children also that were gone from home. I would LOVE it if this family fit in with Samuel's. I know nothing farther back that Edward and not that much on him, actually. Audrey [email protected] wrote: > Dear Martha, > I am the leader of Group 12, Samuel of Ashe Co.NC (and Grayson Co.
