I need proof for my DAR application that William Pennington was the son of John. & That William had a daughter name Jane. 1. John Pennington b.3 Sept.. 1761 at Mendham Twp. Morris Co. NJ d.21 Sept. 1841 at NJ....in 1832 was living at Somersett Co. Wife: Jane Ayers. John's place of residence during the Revolution War was at Basking Ridge, Somerset Co. NJ some of Johns and Jane's children according to Rev. War pension records. 2. Elijah Pennington, Nathaniel Pennington, William Pennington (my ancestor) 3. John Pennington, James Pennington who married Elizabeth Richards and a daughter name Sarah who married a man by the last name of Smith. John & Jane's son William was born abt 1793. William married Ann Brown on 13 Sept. 1813 they had a daughter named Jane. Jane Pennington was born 29 July 1901 at Plainfield, Somerset Co. NJ Jane married on 12 April 1834 to Jonathan Vantuyl. Jane and Jonathan lived 3 miles East of Raymond, Montgomery Co.IL Jane died 22 March 1901 at Irving, IL and is buried at St. John's Cemetery near Raymond, Montgomery Co. IL
