    1. Re: [PENNINGTON-L] Thomas Pennington

    3. I have been reading all these emails carefully. I have been looking for the family of Edward Pennington b. about 1796 place unknown. Married to Lucinda (maiden name unknown). She must have been born about 1802. I first found in Ashe Cty, NC census for 1820. There is only the couple with a young son 0-9 years of age. Found once more in Watauga Cty in 1850 (it was Ashe Cty earlier). This time he is 54 years of age and a farmer. She is 48. At home, they still have Isaac b about 1827 and Irina b. about 1835. I know they had a daughter named Emeline b about 1833 but she had already married in 1850. I have no idea how many children were born between 1820 and 1827 or so. I have searched diligently for any hint of who his parents could be. Your emails today contained Edwards many times and at least one Isaac. Does anyone have any idea if he may belong to this family you are speaking of? He would be my husband's GGGGgrandfather through his daughter, Irina. Audrey Annable Franklin "Sue H.
