Hi Jemima, What was the date of the court order "Thomas Pennington,Heir at Law of the Testor, should be summoned to appear in the next court to be held in the said county and contest the validity thereof if he thinks fit". There was another Edward Pennington ,the brother of Thomas Pennington both sons of Thomas Pennington d.- 1701/2. Could this court order be dated before Edawrd Pennington's will dated 16 May 1752.
