And then there is my lonely little Edward Pennington b. about 1797 or so (perhaps in VA) who first appears in 1820 census for Ashe Cty with a young wife and one small son. I also found him in 1850 census for Watauga Cty (same area) at 54 as a farmer with wife Lucinda and two children at home yet: Irina/Irene and Isaac. I believe they also had a daughter named Emeline. Surely they did not drop from outter space! I have looked for two years now to no avail. I am not sure I belong to Group 7 or not. I hope to be adopted in 2000!
