If this refers to my post, my intention was not meant to be mean or hateful, rather it was to be informative and to point out the dilemma that we,"orphans" Pennington are in. Some are fortunate enough to have found their families fairly easy, others, like myself, have found only long looks and and little returns, I have been looking for thirty years and have never found back further than my great grandfather. I know of a lady that bought one issue of Pennington Pedigrees magazine and there it was, her whole line, back to the frontier.I bought it for several years and a lot of back issues and what did I find, about two mentions of my entire family.And then when I submitted my personal query, it came back so that I hardly recognized it.
