I am searching for information on the parents of John Atkey Pennington, of whom I am a descendent. John Atkey Pennington b-15 Sep 1759 @ Elkton, Cecil, MD. d-14 Feb 1800. Both he and his wife are buried at Old St Anne's Church cemetery, Middletown, DE. John married Martha Ryland 30 Apr 1781 at Elkton, MD. She was b-18 Apr 1759 Cecil county, MD.d-5 Aug 1821 . Her parents were Fredus Ryland and Sarah ?. I have a lot of information from John down but practically nothing on the parents or gr parents or his siblings. Can anyone help me out ?Some of this information was in Pennington Pedigrees V-17 #1 page 54 and V-21 #1 page 77-78. I at one time had ALL the magazines , but a home fire destroyed them all and I haven't had the money to replace them all. It would be very expensive, if possible. I would be pleased to exchange any info that I may have to someone working the same line. Merle
