Carolyn is a refreshing voice, especially to those of us who have some connection to the MD/DE Pennington lines. Errors in the various family trees are sort of like viruses and it seems that the current explosion of genealogy over the internet has made it easier for them to be propogated and next-to-impossible to eradicate. Too many of us practice "un-safe" genealogy (if you'll pardon the analogy) and in this age of free-wheeling info exchange, we should all be more careful. Carolyn, if you read this, I'd love to hear what you have to say regarding the ancestors of the Abraham Pennington who is said to have moved from VA to Berkely Co., SC where he died in 1756. I would imagine, however, that you may get swamped with such requests after your most recent post. I wish I was in a position to be of more assistance, but my role is generally limited to that of a collator and disseminator of info. Anyway, thank you for your comments.
