Hello, Laura! I don't think there can be any connection. I have Nancy Pennington (b. 25 Mar 1844 in Illinois) married George Cridlebaugh and their g-grandaughter married a Turner in Nebraska. Also, my Turners (husband's line) went from NY to Nebraska and were never in Kentucky. In Kentucky, I am researching my lines: Ball and Dyer. Sorry.
