Jane Pennington was born in Somerset Co. N.J. and married Jonathan Vantuyl also born of the same place. they eventually moved near the town of Raymond, Montgomery Co. Illinois. in St. Johns Cemetery is the following: Jonathan Vantuyl b. 30 April 1810, d. 20 June 1887 also on this same headstone was: Julie M. d/o J & J Vantuyl d. 29 aug. 1858, age 4m 24d. Emma G. d/o J & J Vantuyl d. 6 Dec. 1858, age 3y 5m 8d Jane, w/o J Vantuyl born in N.J. 29 1817, d. 22 March 1901, age 837 7m 23d.
