Barry Pennington here: I live in Texas and I am apparently a descendent of Benjamin Pennington (SC,AL), his son, William "Big Bill" Pennington (AL), his son, Silas L. Pennington (AL), his son, William Jefferson Pennington (Franklin County, AL, TX, NM), my grandfather. My grandfather was WILLIAM JEFFERSON PENNINGTON (b. June, 1880, Franklin Co., AL - migrated to Texas and NM, d. Jan., 1960). I am looking for documentation, stories, information, etc. about the Alabama Penningtons (Fayette, Lamar, and Franklin Counties). If anyone has information I would really appreciate the help.
