Please, can someone tell me what happened to this James, born Oct. 23, 1854, came to KY at some point from Lee County, VA. I DO know he was the son of John Pennington b. 1820, and Sarah M. Blankenship, Lee County, VA. What I NEED to know is who James married, names of his children, dates, locations, etc. I SUSPECT he is my great-great grandfather James, who had a son named David Henry Pennington, but I haven't been able to make a definite connection. We think David was born in Hardin County, KY. Please help if you have the slightest clue. If this is the right James, as I think he is, he's my link with eleven generations before him.
