There was an Ephraim, Revolutionary War soldier, and it appears these are descended from or connected to him. I thought I had some additional information on later descendants of this family, but my computer files are all messed up due to a computer malfunction a couple of months ago. I have done extensive searching of Ohio Pennington families. Additionally my own Pennington line involves the surnames Smart and Williams, which you mention in your signoff.
