She was born 1832 possibly in Pulaski Co. KY. I'm not sure of her birthplace. Her father was Arid Pennington. This could be spelled Arard, Erad, Erard, or even Orrad, along with other possible variations. Her mother was either Rachel Elizabeth Martin or Marthy Martin, both daughters of John Martin and Rachel Dobbs. Arid may be son of Wells Pennington who may be son of a William Pennington. Arid may be bro. of Theophilus Pennington. It is suspected that Wells is descended from Micajah and poss. from Benejah. The counties involved are Pulaski, Wayne, Whitley Counties, KY. They came probably from VA and NC. I want to prove or disprove the relationships above. I would like to know if I belong in Grp. 7. There are obviously many other questions.
