At the Virginia Digital Library there is a file of Confederate signatures that includes 113 Penningtons. These are actual scanned pictures of the Confederate roster cards. It can be found at http://image.vtls.com/collections/CF.html once you get to Pennington, you have to view each signature, but they are alphabetical.
