I to would like a copy of that. I am descended from Daniel Rufus his youngest son. And I believe it is Monroe Co., according to most of the research done on this family it is mainly around Tompkinsville, Ky in Monroe Co. that they are from. This is most intriguing. Almost Amusing ;) Lisa Hibbs, another Pennington descendant in Texas. -----Original Message----- From: Gene Pennington [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, March 02, 2000 10:36 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [PENNINGTON-L] QUERY: Isaiah Crouch Pennington, b. 1825, d. 1892 - Tin Type Photo Posted with approval of author. Gene Pennington (Group 7) Research Director Pennington Research Association www.penningtonresearch.org =========================================================== Query: Who has the old tin type photo of Isaiah Crouch Pennington (with the long, white beard) , b. 1825, d. 1892 in either Clay Co., TN or Monroe Co., KY? He served in the Union Army during the Civil War. I had seen this in a Pennington Pedigrees issue at one time. and would like to have a copy of the photo so that it can be enhanced and made a part of my family heritage book.
