NC. 1802 State Grant (NC) to "John Long or Levi Penning" of 50 acres 1800 State Grant (NC) to Levi Pennington of 100 acres near the land he already owns 1805 State Grant (NC) to Levi Pennington of 100 acres "near a drean (sic) of the long Shoal Branch" 1801 State Grant (NC) to Levi Pennington of 100 acres near "his old line" 1812 Deed from William Lenoir to Levi Pennington for 200 acres "on both sides of Silas Creek" 1799 State Grant (NC) to Levi Pennington of 40 acres "on the bank of the North fork of New River" All of the above are in Ashe County, NC. 1795 Wilkes Co. NC State Grant to Levi Penington of 100 acres "on the west side of the North fork of New River" This last one is a deed witnessed by a Levi Penington. 1790 Micajah Pennington to William Landreth 95 acres of land, "on little Elk Creek of New River" Witnessed by Zachariah Wells Edward Penington Levi Penington (Z.
