    3. Johnson surname. Judy, My husband is related to Johnsons. His grandmother was a Johnson. We are stuck on Isaac Johnson born June 19, 1789 probably in Ohio died November 23, 1840 in Anderson, Madison CO., IN. Isaac drowned in a mining camp. We cannot locate his wife's name or parentage of Isaac. Maybe you will have information on this line of the family. Isaac had at least three sons: John Johnson married Susan Goodner. Joseph Johnson, and William Johnson. I know nothing on Joseph nor William. The three brothers were born in Anderson, IN. John and Susan went on to Vermilion County,IL. You may contact me at my email address. I have numerous records on Isaac Johnson (1787-1876 Texas Co MO) , who is connected to McGehee and Pennington lines. Isaac Johnson married Elizabeth Shelton in 1816 in Warren Co TN according to his War of 1812 Pension File. I believe Isaac is a brother to my ancestor, John Johnson (1780/90 prob TN-1854 MO). I have one proven brother to my John, and he was William Johnson (1774/77-15 Jan 1815 Battle of New Orleans). Although I have never been able to prove Isaac is a brother to these other two men, I have thought it was true for a long time. If you have any Johnsons in your records, I will be glad to check my files to see if we can determine just how they fit together. Also, if you would share your Johnson info with me, I would be most appreciative. I have just recently started putting all my records into FTW. I have years of records to go through. But, perhaps we can assist each other.
