While working on Rev. Charles Pennington, GR V, I ran across an isolated bit of information that I thought might be of interest to someone, perhaps the Pennington Gap people. I found a Timothy Pennington who sold a 100-acre tract on Mockerson Ridge in Russell County on 2 May 1804. Source - Russell County VA DB3, p488. The location is in the area where Rev.
