Dear Al, One of the reasons that Edward "Neddy" Pennington is attributed to Group 7 is that there is a death record that lists his father has Micajah...the information was given by either a daughter or granddaughter. Also...Edward is listed with a bastardy bond in NC for a daughter by Agnes Little. The child is in the household of Micajah and Rachel Jones Pennington in 1800. She evidently dies sometime afterward because there is no more mention of her. You can see the Bible entry with Edward Pennington's name on the PRA Group 7 page. However, I believe that many of these Penningtons who lived in close confines ie Lee Co., VA, Grayson Co., VA, Ashe Co., NC, & Wilkes Co., NC are somehow connected...I don't think that I am new with that opinion...but info like what you have listed is certainly interesting.
