Mary, I was looking for the parents of my Ephriam PENNINGTON and found Hiram PENNINGTON married to Margaret Ann PICKLE, both from Monroe County, TN. Hiram was the s/o John PENNINGTON (b 27 Oct 1801 NC, died 27 Aug 1867) and Alpha DAVIS (B 1802 KY died 1872). Margaret was the d/o Jonathan PICKLE (15 Feb 1790 VA, died 24 Sep 1854 TN) and Elizabeth CUNNINGHAM (Married 23 Jun 1818). Hope this might help you with your PENNINGTON/PICKLE connection.
