Hi Mary, Thanks for the info. I don't have much on the family of Benjamin Clark Pennington, so will just have to hold this in the file and see if I can get additional info to substantiate dates, etc. I did find one item in Pennington Pedigrees Vol. 1, No. 2, pg 26: Benjamin Clark b. 1842 in Miss. Went with his uncle "Pink" McManus to Wagner? Waggoner? near Ft. Worth and Dallas, Texas by ox cart, lived and died there. His family did not know if married or not, called "Clark." This note is in conflict with other info in the file. According to what I have, Pinkney Jackson "Pink" McManus married Ada Lou Pennington, a descendant of Jesse M. Pennington. By this, Ada Lou Pennington and Clark were second cousins, once removed, so this Pink was not Clark's uncle -- unless I have a Pink McManus missing??? Benjamin Pennington Jr. was a son of Benjamin Sr. who was brother to your 2g-gf Solomon, so you would be related to any descendants of Benjamin Clark Pennington. You might query the cousin and see if he has additional info on the family. If I get any further info, will be sure to let you know.
