Sad to say, but your family nor anyone else will be able to look at the 2000 census... EVER! Due to the shortsightedness of Congress, a law was passed that keeps this Census private FOREVER! They apparently think that more people will be willing to submit their info if it is handled in this way. They apparently do not realize the importance of the Census to genealogists.
