I am in group 6 descendant of Levi and Solomon Pennington. I have always been told that I was part Cherokee from my father and part Choctaw from my mothers side. My father: Howard G.Pennington,son of Levi Jackson Pennington and Nancy E. Powers. My mother. Bessie B.Coffey,daughter of Eaphrom V. Coffey and Mamie Sneed. Has anyone ever done any research on this? If so could you tell me which tribe the Penningtons came from in group 6. Thank you Mary
