However, I've never before seen any information about the descendants you mentioned being children of Ephraim b. 1620, and the confusion about whether it was him or his son who married Mary Brockett is also a bit disconcerting. It would probably be a good thing to know where your info came from so it could be verified. Most of the early Puritan colonies kept pretty good vital records, so if those still exist for New Haven that would be one place to look. New Haven, because of the way it was split up within a generation, with some including an Ephraim Pennington removing to Newark, NJ, may be more confusing than most, however. Cheers, Katherine
