Hi Bobby: I went to visit my uncle Ezekiel ( Zeke )Pennington he is 85 years old he is the only son still living of Levi Jackson Pennington.There is also a sister Rosie she is the oldest of Levis children she is 94 years old and is living in Spiro Oklahoma. I had a wonderful visit with him and his wife my aunt Mary Alice. He told me that his father (Levi) died of cancer, he said that he had a large lump on his neck and back in those days he said that they called it a carbuncle. My father Howard G. Pennington (Levis son) died of the same thing. Do you have any Medical family history on any of the Pennington Ancestors as to what they died from? I also found out that Levi had two other children. Their first child was , William O. Pennington, born June 08.1901, died October 26, 1901. Second child was, Andrew J. Pennington, born March 14, 1903, died January 12,1904. When it comes to my Pennington talking about family things they clam up,but he sure was in a talkative moode, he said that when I come back to visit him he would tell me some stories about him and my father when they were little boys. I can hardly wait to go back to visit them. It's a three hour drive to Central Arizona and I live in Mesa Arizona, I go down ever chance I get, They are getting old and I want to spend as much time with them as I can.I will stop rambling on, I just wanted to share this with you and see if I could find out some medical history.
