Hello Cousin, Our records indicate Tobe "Patty" Pennington, son of William and grandson of Absalom, was born 20 January 1872 in Mississippi and died 6 April 1962 - buried in Pleasant Grove, Lawrence County, Mississippi, Methodist Cemetery. He married Florence E. Williams about 1897 in Mississippi. She was born 13 December 1872 in Mississippi. Florence died 22 June 1957 in Mississippi. They had 10 children: 1. Walter A. m. Effie Lambert 2. George McKinley m. Inez Beeson 3. Roy 4. Alcby m. Ruseann Wilson . 5. Tobe m. Marie Boatwell 6. Jennie B. m. Wade Calcote 7. Beulah Mae 8. Carrilee m. J. Peavy 9. Farrell Rord m.Edna Lambert and Isabell Ballard 10. R. D. Pennington . This Information comes from research conducted over several years by a group of related Penningtons in the line of Absalom.
