Hi Sandi, I don't know what R. D. stands for, but I am pretty sure all of this family didn't stay together. Tobe Lee PENNINGTON and his brother, Bob, are the only ones who moved to AZ. The person who sent this to me knows a lot more than I do about this family. I didn't have as many children for Tobe and Florence (WILLIAMS) PENNINGTON. One of those was R. D. My sister in law only knew that there was a large family, but didn't know all of the names. "R" could certainly stand for Ralph.
