Are the Bucks County, PA PENNINGTONS the same that went to Southside VA, then to SC? Edward and Isaac PENNINGTON are names seen in both areas. Anyone descend from these PENNINGTONS of Bucks County, PA? Thanks, Audrey

Audrey, My name is Jill Pennington and I am very new to genealogy. My husband's family's oral history has always included the words "Bucks County, Pennsylvania but those who passed the words along are long dead. His oldest known relative is Moses R Pennington born May 4, 1830 place unknown died December 20, 1887. Married Esther Richardson on November 23, 1854 where is unknown. She was born August 18, 1832 and died in 1885. They had four children 1. Joseph Richardson Pennington Born January 11, 1861 in Dorchester/Doylestown, PA died feb 1, 1937 in Sandpoint, Idaho. Married Lizzie M. Moody May 23, 1882 in Rome Bradford County PA. No Children. Married Emma Josephine Shales April 29, 1894 in Waverly, NY. She was born August 2, 1873 in Avoca, PA and died April 17, 1959 in Sandpoint Idaho. They had three sons, John Henry Pennington born February 13, 1895 in Luzerne, PA and died March 20, 1977, Marion Elbert Pennington born March 4, 1902 in Parsons, West Virginia and died April 21, 1966 in Carson City, NV and Charles Allen Pennington born February 26, 1906 in Sandpoint, Idaho and died November 27, 1981 in Sandpoint, Idaho. (I have family trees for all of these men. 2. Kate D. Pennington born February 22, 1858 in Doylestown, PA died in 1947 Married Thomas S Rice December 29, 1881. They had no children. He was a doctor. 3.Laura Matilda Pennington born May 28, 1856 and died April 30, 1877 4.John Edward Pennington born January 24, 1867 died September 28, 1934 in Wolfpoint, Montana I have no other information on this man. I posted the information on Moses on the Pennington Research site and the response was no known information. Any help you can give me will be very much appreciated. Thanks for your help.
