Barb, In deed records of Brunswick Co, VA, both names, Henry and Isaac PENNINGTON are involved with land transactions of the LANIER family. These two families are intermarried with our families; LANIER & BALLARD; PENNINGTON & POOLE, etc. The above is the reason I have followed the Southside VA families for so long; been at this for about 30 yrs now. There isn't much in Brunswick on Henry PENNINGTON; perhaps he moved on to Henry County. I wonder if there is a LANIER/PENNINGTON connection?
