    3. Audrey: My name is Audrey, too. I have been seeking information for years on an Edward Pennington who had a son named Isaac. He was born in about 1795 in who knows where. He is first found in the 1820 Ashe Cty NC census, with one small son 0-9 years of age and he being 18-26 and his wife being 16-26 years of age. They had Isaac and Irene later. There were quite a few Penningtons around but no one claims him. Ashe County had been Wilkes in this area and later became Watauga Cty. I have never been able to link him to NC Penningtons. VA in the 1780's and then moved to Patrick Co. Henry Co. and Patrick are considered South Side. However, I have not determined where he came from at this time. It appears he may be from the NC Pennington line. Some from the NC group also went to SC. Eleanor Audrey E.
