I am looking for info for Abel Pennington, b. 1790 in S.C., Died 1865 in Webbville KY. This Abel married Elizabeth Boggs in Harlan Co. KY 6 Jan 1814, by Spencer Adams. Abel was on 1819 Harlan census. He moved into Lawrence Co KY to Blaine Trace. He had a son James W. b. 1820. James married Celia Harris in 1848 in Johnson Co KY. They are both buried in the Joe Wheeler cemetery on Blaine Trace Road, Elliot Co. KY. Henry Clay Pennington was about the 10th child of James and Celia's. He was a twin of Martin who died as a baby. Henry was my Grand Father. He died in 1942, at my mothers and father's home in Boyd Co KY., and is buried in Boyd Co. I think Abel was a son of William and Abigail Pennington, or there was a lot of accidental settling in the same areas of Harlan and Lawrence-Elliot Co. thanks all Louie Vaughan clouievaughan@att.net
