Hello Steve, I think this suggestion of the databases for the various material is plausible. There are a number of things that have to be worked out. Two of the most important that come immediately to my mind is: The logistics (which is major) and finding one or possibly two very dedicated members in the PRA to take on the huge job. This kind of responsiblilty is as major as what Carmen has with the JFMF. There are many people in cyberspace that have a mountain of talent. Perhaps, all of us working together on the subject, we can come up with workable solution. The end result being a overwhelming 'yea' from the Board. I suppose we should first, find out from the people who monitor the list, what their thoughts are and any feedback they can render. Set up some ground rules, so to speak. I believe this is important to find out if there is even a need for this type of thing. It may be that we need to start small (just for the PRA) and see if the members are using the information. Most of all, if it helps them in their research. One thing is for certain, it would certainly be a waste of talent and time if the work was being put forth and no one used the information. But, I don't believe that whatever database is used is not being shared. The PRA is in the business of sharing information, that is what we're all about. It is probably more a matter of "HOW" to share the knowledge. I would love to hear from others on what they think.
