Dear Julie, saw your post today and I am desperately hoping that we might have a connection. My gr-grandfather, George William Pennington was the son of George W. Pennington and Mary Ann Homeshaw of England. He was born April 15, 1859 in Sheffield, Yorkshire Co., Eng. He immigrated to the United States with his parents in 1863. Hope this is of good use to and me. I didn't realize there are so many Penningtons out there. Judy
