I will be posting this to other genealogy lists today.. Yesterday I rec'd a message regarding a query I had posted some time ago I think on the web. Possibly genforum.com. In the message, the person asked for my relationship and she would send me more information.. Today I rec'd an attached file with the Surname in the subject. I scanned it with my Updated Norton and it said the file was infected. I thought the person may not realize her computer was infected with the virus, so I sent her a message to warn her. My warning message bounced back with the message below. Note and beware of this return address. There is a chance the person is not quilty, I suppose, but it is extremely suspicious that that message was deliberately sent with the virus. Someone is targeting researchers.....Be VERY careful. Update your virus program almost daily for now.. Here is the message that bounced and the address: Message from yahoo.com. May I recommend you download Norton Virus protection and do a scan on your hard drive? I am assuming you didn't know your computer has the virus.. Cher
