The Cimorelli Immigration Manifests Online (CIMO) at http://www.cimorelli.com/safe/shipmenu.htm has the most impressive online immigration ship databases anywhere. The databases of ships from 1890-1930 can be searched by name or by date. With a name, you can search all voyages for the ship by date, and will be able to tell the ports of departure and arrival in the U.S. Earlier records prior to 1890 can be searched and displayed by ship name, date, departure port, ship's flag, captain, rig and weight. A massive database of shipwrecks in the North Atlantic is also included. There are also databases of Irish immigrants and Germans from Russia, among other smaller databases, at this site. This site is an essential one for your ships' passenger list research. - George G.
