So far PRA Group 7 is the only link I have found to the Penningtons in Clay Co. Kentucky. I believe the following information is accurate based of my fathers memory. Levi Pennington of Clay Co. Ky. had at least one son named William. William married Polly Goforth and lived in Clay Co. They had ten children one of which was Levi b.1891. Levi married Julia Ann Ferguson b.1890 of Clay Co. in 1912 and they moved to Boone Co. Ky. Levi and Julia were my grandparents. I have some on the information on the Ferguson , Pennington and Goforth families in the Sextons Creek / Clay Co Ky area.
