Hi Vee and All, I can remember helping my mother with the wash. We did it on Mondays. I still sort my wash the same way. We had two wash tubs. Does anyone remember how it hurt when you got your had stuck in the wringers. Ouch!!! Same thing hung it out on the rope clothes lines with the old wooden clothes pins.
