Well, it has been a few weeks and I thought that it was time I repost what I am researching for the benefit of those folks that are new or that have just come back from the holidays and see if there is anyone out there that can shed some new light on things. As you can see some progress has been made as far as personal information but still no information on the children of Johann Conrad Lorsbach. Notes for JOHANNES LORSBACH: He was a Minister. Child of JOHANNES LORSBACH is: 2. i. JOHANN HENRICH2 LORSBACH, b. 1678, Lampertheim, Germany; d. August 31, 1729. Generation No. 2 2. JOHANN HENRICH2 LORSBACH (JOHANNES1) was born 1678 in Lampertheim, Germany, and died August 31, 1729. He married ANNA CHRISTINA. Notes for JOHANN HENRICH LORSBACH: He was a Lutheran Parson. Two new misspellings connected to his name. LORSBACHEUR and the other is LORSBACHIO. These two spelling have been connected to Johann Hennrich ONLY. The second misspelling PASTORE JOHANNE HENRICO LORSBACHIO was used himself when he made his first entry into the church register in 1714. Children of JOHANN LORSBACH and ANNA CHRISTINA are: i. December 09, 1722, Lampertheim, Germany. Notes for CARL LUDWIG LORSBACH: To avoid misunderstandings JOHANN CONRAD and CARL LUDWIG were twins. Each of the boys had his own sponsor (Johann Conrad Rettig and Carl Geisweild respectively.) xi. JOHANN CONRAD LORSBACH, b. December 09, 1722, Lampertheim, Germany; m. SUSANNA HERB, November 17, 1748, Falkner Swamp Reformed Church, Montgomery Co. PA.. Notes for JOHANN CONRAD LORSBACH: To avoid misunderstandings JOHANN CONRAD and CARL LUDWIG were twins. Each of the boys had his own sponsor (Johann Conrad Rettig and Carl Geisweild respectively.) In Sower's Newspaper 16, October 1749, the following appeared: "Johann Conrad Lorschbach, near the stone church. Old Goshengoppen." Johann Conrad acted ass a godfather 16 Sept. 1729. By that time he was 7 years old. The entry read "Johann Conrad the little son of the late parson Johann Henrich of this village....." The family that he acted as godfather for was Johann Georg and Anna Maritha Hauck. The little one was also named Johann Conrad, of course.
