I too am looking for Muth's. The line I am searching is Daniel B. (1844 - 1914), Archibald Daniel (1891 - 1966), Earl L. (1913 - 1990). I do think I know all their siblings (from family bible) and the closest we come to a William is Archie's brother Harvey William born 1896 & generally called Harvey, so at least at this level I do not think there is a connection for you, but I do not know Daniel's parents not the wives & children of his siblings nor the children of Archie's siblings, so there is lots of room for possibility here. This family was primarily in the Schnectsville area, through 1920s or so but dissipated throughout the Lehigh Valley over the years I am told, though Archie lived the last 20 yrs or so in New Smithville area in Berks County.
