LORD, WILLIAMS, CUMMINGS Betsy Lord, born 4 Dec. 1796 Pennsylvania Parents unknown as yet. Married WILLIAMS,Thomas, born New York. Parents WILLIAMS,Thomas and Anna Magdalene (unknown) who then moved to Pennsylvania. Betsy and Thomas WILLIAMS bore Minerva Raley WILLIAMS. Minerva was born 14 Aug, 1826 in Pennsylvania. Minerva Raley Williams married CUMMINGS, Edwin in Trempealeau Co. Wisconsin. Edwin was born 13 June 1827 in West springfield, Massachusetts. Edwin was orphaned at 9. Moved around the states looking for gold and fortune,until deciding to found the town of pigeon falls, in Wisconsin, Trempealeau Co. His other siblings joined him there. He met Minerva and they proceeded to have a family. After his death in 1899, Minerva sold out the dairy farm and land, and moved all her family to Portland,Oregon. She bought 2 hotels downtown for her girls and her to run and an orchard for son Warren Cummings. Of course its the ones I don't know much about that Id love to hear something on.
