For over twenty years now I have been stumped by one of my PD ancestors' name. It is MARGARET OVERDAUL and she married LUDWIG DORMEYER in about 1797, probably in Centre CO. I have never even seen the name OVERDAUL listed in an index of any sort! I have seen it spelled OLVERDAUl in a family written history, but doubt that is correct. I am wondering if, since these were all ist generation Germans, if the spelling should be OFFERDAUL? But I have looked for that as well and have never seen it either!
