I have an international family since our kids are grown & lived all over the world. When our German son-in-law ,with our only daughter as his new bride, came to live with us for a while I introduced him to PENNA-DUTCH food which is quite different than German Food, he never saw or heard of Red Beet Eggs.(I just had a instant message conversation w/ a German friend I made on net, were both happily married, he has same name as one of my immigrants, given & sruname. & we talked at Easter & he never heard of Red Beet Eggs), Our sons (one of them)Canadian girl friend never saw or ate them before comming to Berks County & visiting us. Next we go to Michigan, where we made a PENNA-DUTCH Dinner for another son's wife's family, they were still eating Red Beet Eggs, which they never saw or ate, when we left to come home. And finally our daughter-in-law in California, same thing when we visited them, we took Lebanon Bologna, which they never ate, same goes for Red Beet Eggs I made while visiting. I will make them this holiday weekend for our son & family who live in Shartlesville, PA. because our kids say, "no one makes Red Beet Eggs like mom", they say that about all there favorite food because they know mom will make it for them. Everyone have a safe and good Holiday. Sylvia
