Diana, Not sure of an answer to your question - but I have ancestors that I thought were Huff but are really Hoff (all descendants of Johann Jacob Hoff (I originally had Jacob Huff). His daughter was my 6th G Grandmother. MUCH more available - and the location is right (Central PA). Most of my family is from western Lancaster Co.
