Hi, I just subscribed to this list after I found out that my gg grandmother probably came from Mansfield, PA and was of Pennsylvania Dutch ancestry. Naomi's maiden name is in doubt. It may to Carner or Carrier. Naomi was married in 1837 to Julius Wilcox. Would marriage records have been kept at that time? I'm interested in finding out who her parents and siblings were as well as her correct maiden name. Her birtdate was September 17, 1818 and was married on March 1, 1837.
