It really has nothing to do with RootsWeb and they have filters in place to stop spam from reaching the lists. There are many ways that all of us get our e-mail addresses on spammers' lists. The addresses you are reporting the spam to are forged addressed which is why the mail is bouncing. If you can send me a copy of the full headers from one of the spams I will try to explain to you where and how to report it if I can. I need the full headers though--and don't send it all--just one--I have enough of my own thanks. Joan
