Since I am new to the list I will publish the names I am working on and about which I have accumulated much genealogy and history. > My direct ancestor, Johann Jacob Hofheitz arrived in Philadelphia on the ship, Two Brothers, on September 23, 1751. His two brothers, Johann Daniel and Johann Adam came together in 1763. Jacob lived first in Bucks Co and then in Berks. I do not know where Daniel lived in PA, but he was married in Lancaster. Adam was probably in York Co in those days. > Jacob moved to Guilford Co. NC in the early 1770's and Daniel moved to the part of Surry Co which became Stokes Co. NC about the same time. Their descendants evolved their name to Huffines/Huffine. Adam remained in PA and his descendants took the name, Hoffein. They lived in York and Adams Counties. > I am particulariy interested in find the maiden name of Jacob's wife. Her given names are Mary Ann Elizabeth at the baptism of their first son in August 1956 in Bucks Co. PA > I would like to correspond and share with anyone tracing these lines. > Good Searching - Good Finding - Good Luck!
